LOOK INTO THE ART AND CULTURE OF EMPORDÀ THROUGH ITS CHARACTERS

La Brava Beer

INSPIRED BY THE COSTA BRAVA

Over 2 years ago a group of entrepreneurs from different professional fields decided to live a dream. Spotting a market niche in the world of beer, half way between industrial production and local artisanal beers, inspired by the Costa Brava and following their own recipes based on Pielsen style they added a secret ingredient — the key to every successful formula.

The image had to be accurate, the taste, unique. They made sure of quality in every step of production. Their ad campaign went viral. Embodying the genuine spirit of the Costa Brava that goes beyond the noise of the summer, the La Brava and Vulpellac brands have taken their place in the fascinating world of beer.

In less than a year and a half La Brava has become a leading label out of a dream. You can find it in all the major supermarkets as well as restaurants and bars, in Barcelona and Girona.

With no intention to stop the La Brava family is growing; this summer they will introduce La Sense, the first alcohol-free beer with a long natural maturation. And that’s not all. La Fosca —their first dark beer will see the light next season.

New and ambitious challenges will see the family continues to grow and thrive: that is to set up, in 2023, their own plant in L’Empordà in order to elaborate their beer in the land where it was born.

The brand also supports the culture and gastronomy of the Costa Brava by sponsoring popular celebrations as Flors i Violes in Palafrugell, the Catalan Rumba and Music Festival in Tossa de Mar, Dinner under the Stars in Castelló d’Empúries or the C. H. Palafrugell OK League, amongst others. All of these prove that La Brava is an active brand committed to the local community.

With its’ roots in the Empordà, La Brava’s online media presence shows the world the real Costa Brava, one that inspired a group of creative business minds to bring us a beer full of nuances — like the landscape in which it was born.//
