"If you tell me an indigenous architect, you are flattering me." The indigenous mason is the one that works with the vernacular architecture. We are increasingly aware of the ecological, social and health problems that lead to the current productive system and we are inclined towards tradition.
With wine and gastronomy as their central theme, ‘La Gastronòmica’ offers an exciting and delightfully diverse experience of the Empordà. Their ‘raison d’etre’ is to welcome visitors to Catalonia with participatory experiences rooted in the land itself, through some of the Emporda’s extraordinary products.
In a beautiful location just beyond the town of Begur, surrounded by
forests and right by the sea, Sa Garrofa is a fascinating space offering activities and courses focusing on body and mind, work in the urban gardens and a restaurant with chill out rooms and terraces.
Over 2 years ago a group of entrepreneurs from different professional fields decided to live a dream. Spotting a market niche in the world of beer, half way between industrial production and local artisanal beers, inspired by the Costa Brava and following their own recipes based on Pielsen style they added a secret ingredient — the key to every successful formula.
