The first Castañer workshop was founded in 1927 and, since then, they have turned footwear of popular origin into a sophisticated product linked to design and fashion. His meeting with Yves Saint Laurent in the 70s made history by creating the first wedge espadrille. Today, on the way to its centenary, Castañer remains faithful to its Mediterranean essence: tradition, craftsmanship and natural materials.
In the Costa Brava they open their stores from March to September in Cadaqués and Llafranc.
